| I admit, I haven't seen most of these films. What do you think of the list, Bruinforever?
I don't think Citizen Kane belongs on the list. It made a socio-economic/political statement then, but so have so many other movies since then. I was ground-breaking then, but it's really not that good of a movie.
Vertigo, 2001 and the Godfathers are terrific. I've never seen Singing in the Rain all the way through.
And, like an American idiot, I've never seen the foreign films.
I might actually add Matrix and LOTR to the list as ground-breaking films. (go ahead and poke fun)
