| I like the "ten best" arguments that they always have. In my opinion though, I think USC is in the top three. I agree that Nebraska is probably the best of all time, but since there isn't any way to know... USC is in the top three because:
1) They haven't been beaten even with many of their tough games coming on the road, when every opponent has been looking to give USC their best shot.
2) They DO have a good defense but many of their best players have been out during the season (I bet USC's Defense plays much better against Texas). Another reason their defense looks weak is because they have been playing in the Pac 10 where every team is capable of 30+ a game.
3) Excellent coaching. If you give Pete Carroll prep time, he is going to find a way to win.
4) The most dynamic offense in history. Yeah Nebraska and other teams have had great offenses, but USC can hit you in so many ways. Any play can go for a TD, and any player can be the one to score it.
