| Yes, some of those movies feel old and awkward these days. Casablanca still works, though, I think.
Clockwork Orange was amazing...but before 2001? I'm not totally convinced of that. 2001 still challenges most modern day creation myths and also conatins another "possible" thoery of universal laws, which fits squarely with current physicist's string theories. (not that I believe it at all, but it has significance for the sake of idea, ingenuity and debate). Clockwork Orange has political/social significance up to a point. But I could be persuaded on this issue.
