| Congrats Beaver Nation. What a gutsy performance. Actually the Beavs fought back from elimination 6 times, a record. In addition, they are the first team to win the series after losing twice, largely a result of the format changes. They are the first team since USC (86?) to win after losing the first game. It was OSU's second national championship......ever! The last one was in 1961, cross country. The University of Oregon doesn't have a baseball team, needless to say I think everyone in the State of Oregon was glued to the TV. I kind of like this photo.
