It would have been easy for Stanback to lean forward toward the microphones and recorders and complain. It would have been totally understandable, really. Stanback had just directed a 10-play, 65-yard drive in the final 1:34 and was forced to watch the clock run out as the Huskies lined up for one final play with two seconds left, even though replays showed they should have had five seconds after gaining a first down.
