Its funny that all of Oregon wins have an asterix with you, but regardless of how UCLA wins or who its against you don't point that out at all.

Thats because UCLA has proved it, they proved it last year and proved it in OOC playing teams like Texas A&M

The Stanford argument does not hold water because 1. Oregon beat Stanford and 2. Stanford beat UCLA and 3. Oregon beat UCLA.

You beat Stanford at home, UCLA lost to Stanford at Maples after having a 17 point lead. UCLA is up 18 on Oregon right now after losing at Oregon. Anyways your point was that Oregon beat Stanford who just beat UCLa and I said Stanford has gotten a lot better, which they clearly have with starting both Lopez twins (they are undeafeted while doing so.) and for more evidence on how they've gotten better, they lost to UA and only a fool would take UA to beat stanford right now-the way UA has played the past 8 games.

I guess i don't understand your logic. Do "ugly" games not count all of the sudden? I don't see an "ugly game" column anywhere, its WIN and LOSS. Thats it...no domination column, no almost lost column, no looked great winning column, no stunk like a pig column, no looked good in losing column, no dominated the stats but lost column...you get the point.

You were making the point that after beating Stanford made you the team to beat and I said you shouldn't making such a statement after that ugly game. Its undeniable about how bad the game was, you guys won but don't be telling me you are the best team in the best conference after the preformance, at home no less.

Just so you know i'm not getting a big head about this Duck team. I'm ready for the let down. Be it tonight (down by 15 last i checked) or in the tourney. But you talk like we should just end the season now and give UCLA the trophy.

And what do these kids on UCLA have to do with history? Is Bill Walton gonna come out of the rafters and help em out? They went to the final game last year and lost. What kind of history is that? Finishing 2nd place i guess...not sure how thats gonna help them out this year.

Here let me explain...again-
A. If you are looking at long term history (looking back at Alcindor and Wooden)...that has a huge impact, if you claim it has little effect on teams, my bet is you've never been to game at UCLA. Every player who has played there says the 11 banners above them have an impact
B. If our looking at last year, of course that has an impact, no matter what he situation, the team that last won the title (pac ten regular and tournament) and last had the most success (final four) will have a target on its back. It pretty clearly gives the entire UCLA program confidence and it most definitly givs confidence to the media to hype them enough to make them the team to beat regardless of whatever ridiculous points you make
