If ND is in the Fiesta and Cal is in the sun bowl, then Stanford will not be bowl eligible. For ND to get the BCS spot they have to win 9 games, meaning beating Syr and Stan. If Cal loses to Stan, they will be Pac10 #4 or #5 depending on what ASU does against Ariz.
Assuming this:
UO beats OSU
ASU beats AZ
CAL beats Stan
USC beats FUCLA
ND beats Stan
Rose: UT vs USC
Fiesta: ND vs PSU or Bama (w/win) or OSU (w/win) then Oregon (Vtech out due to regional lack of interest)
Holiday: UCLA vs ISU (or whatever)
Sun: Cal vs crap big10 team
Insight: ASU vs some other crap team
Vegas: open
If Oregon isn’t selected, everyone drops down a bowl.
Needless to say (even if Oregon sucked this year) I will be rooting for whoever is playing the free-pass Irish for the next three games. |
