Well I kinda grew up with the ND background... From Indiana, Irish, and Catholic! I even went to a game in 2001..truly amazing. My first real college game ever. Oh and my nickname is Rootie.. yes it's spelled different but still pronounced like the famous Rudy! And when I ran in a 5K in South Bend and it ended on the 50 yard line at the ND stadium.. The whole way in I was chanting to myself ..."Rootie, Rootie!!" lol Plus all my relatives from the South Side of Chicago are Huge ND fans. So yeah I kinda fell into that pattern of the bandwagon fan. But since I wasn't really into college football at the time, I didn't give a crap or know anything else. I guess you can thank Brady for that one!
But in all, I don't hate ND like all the rest of you. But I do agree that it is kinda shady that they are making it to a BCS bowl.
