ASU - Oregon

So what are everyone's thoughts on this game? ASU is nowhere near as bad as they looked against Cal, but that's still a tough loss to recover from. Especially when your quarterback almost single handedly lost them the game. If ASU had any other coach, I think they would bounce back big at home... but they have Dirk Koetter, and are playing Oregon. Anyone think this will be competitive or is it like my brother said... Rudy Carpenter is mind-fucked?

I think this will be the best game to watch this weekend. The Devils always put up a huge fight against Oregon. ASU has the better overall record - and need this win badly..AND it's in the desert. Oregon has to "prove" that it is for real. This will be a really tough, competitive battle. I'm scared of this game!

I'm scared of this game too as an ASU fan... you're not alone. Anyway, I was rather surprised to find out today that ASU is actually a 1 point favorite.

I'm not surprised that much. It's in the desert, 250 degrees, ASU has the better overall record. This is going to be a great game to watch. Win or lose, I can't wait!

Nah, it's only supposed to be 104 today. I'm going to be at this game and I have my camera battery charging. I'll try to take pics.

I wish I wasn't there. I did still have a good time, but I definately am calling for Koetters head. There is absolutely no reason with ASU's talent they should get blown out in consecutive games. I still think Oregon is the team to beat in the Pac, but it should have been closer. I'll show you the pics later... for now I'm off to the bars to watch Iowa beat Ohio State.

yes, go drink yourself silly. You should want Koetter's head on a platter. Our D line was no match for your O line. That should have been a much closer game. Koetter needs to go.

I have always supported Kotter but not any more. It is time for a change in Tempe. This season is embarassing. I will not settle for some crappy bowl in December and be happy about. There is no reason ASU should not be in the national title hunt every year. We have the talent can we can recruit the talent. We need coaching that can win the big games. So who can we get to come to Tempe? Any suggestions?

Fire Kotter!

Go ND!

To be honest... I think DK is here to stay. I believe he just got an extension last year, and the new AD doesn't seem to be the type to let him go. ASU is an enormous school with lots of talent, in a BCS conference, and should have the coaches to make it happen. In a perfect world we could grab a coach from another major program. If not, two coaches come to mind from possible emerging powers (Rutgers & South Florida). For now we can only sit back and watch the ship slowly sink.
