Koetter's recruits reconsidering

Apparently a lot of the big name recruits that had tentatively committed to ASU are already reconsidering. I know of 2 solid receivers from here in the Valley that are now looking at Oregon among others. I wonder if they'll follow him or stay put.

why would they reconsider? Wouldn't this be a "good" thing for recruiting?

Well, I guess it just depends on who they bring in. Lisa Love has announced that she has "big news" and I believe she already has the peices in place, I just don't know when they are going to announce the new coach/coaches. I guess if you were going to go to ASU because of Koetter you would want to follow him. It's an exciting and scary time to be an ASU fan.

Oh I'm very excited. It sucks because you never want big time recruits to leave, but talent was never the problem here.

If ASU gets some heavy hitters for coaches, my guess is that it will only take about 2-3 years before ASU becomes a smack down powerhouse in the pac-10. Talent's been there for sure - just need some good leaders. I'm excited to see how this turns out.

I always prefer to see teams in the pac-10 evolving and bringing tough competition - it forces all the other teams to step it up a notch, too. Plus, I have a soft spot for ASU.
