Arizona Game
I thought they where embarasing, allowing all those backdoor cuts and dunks. They did not play any defense the looked completly lost on some plays.

I think i have come to some conclusions about some of Robb Evans recruits.

Jeff PenderGraph Grade A
Really good player, prob the best player on the team.

Antuhene Grade C-
I am really starting to think he is really overrated. He looks out of control half the time. He turns the ball over about 5 times a game. I have watched someone pick his pocket almost every single game.
Can't shoot for shit.

Serge Angounou Grade D
He plays hard, that about it. He is a bad college player at best.
Evans was acting like this guy like he was the greatest ever and hardly mentioned Diogu. I really don't think Evans knows what makes a good Basketball player.

Kevin Kruger Grade B-
He is a decent college player that can shoot great sometimes.

Bryson Krueger Grade C-
Once and a while he is Great, but most of the time he sucks.

Sylvester Seay Grade B?
He looks like one of the best players on the team but Evans never plays him?
Like I said Evans has no idea who his best players are.

Chad Goldstein Grade C
I like Goldstein, He has about 0 talent but plays better than most players on this team.

Craig Austin Grade F
Uhhh? This guy is on a division I Scholarship?
I think he would be decent at best on a division II team.
The Stanford Game Seay is playing great the Devils are up 8 points. Evans brings in Austin for the rest of the game, the devils lose by 6.

I've had to tune out almost every single game I've watched because it's just sickening. I always start to watch thinking this one might be different.

Your grading scale is pretty harsh but basically right on the mark. What would you grade Evans for coaching ability?

I would give Evans a D+. I think he is a decent recruiter and his players like him.
His players don't get into trouble. He is just a bad coach who does not have a clue.

I wish we could get a good coach in here and keep him around to do the recruiting and keep the players in line.

LOL I was reading your post and I was just going to ask if you were drunk... but from the last line I got it. Anyway, ya I think Evans is an ok recruiter, but I think most coaches here could be. It's a pretty easy place to attract young, talented athletes.
