| Stoops owns Dirk And MS will be 2-0 vs. the team up north in November, write it down. I'll be there. The Pac 10 should be on notice the rest of the year. The D is in full effect and Tui is exploding on the scene. Hide your QBs cuz we're coming!!!! |

| LOL we need to hide our QB's somewhere. Anyway I think I may go to that game also. Hope things turn around for both teams. Mike Stoops is a pretty solid coach and I have heard some very positive things about the program.

| Sorry, not a big fan of Stoops. His commentary in this article sounds like he is proud that his D broke Kellen's leg. It was a perfectly legal hit, but that does not change the fact that arguably (I said arguably) the leagues best QB had his career ruined. http://www.azstarnet.com/sn/wildcats/99770 |

| If you review how Oregon's 2 QB's were taken out on replay, it appears that these are the two causes of injury: Clemens - his foot got stuck in the turf while he was hit. Dixon - Instead of sliding, he decided to take the hit by defenders. Rookie move as a Sophmore, who doesn't have the weight training of a senior, like Clemens. It appears that the turf took out Clemens and Dixon took out Dixon. (Dixon is now practicing sliding in practice) It was an amazing game by Arizona, and their Defense deserves credit..long before Oregon's 2 QB's were taken out. | you said that you are looking for some real arizona fans, i grew up in tucson and i have had my 3 year old son at games since he was 6 months old, i support the cats no matter what. i have just moved to pennsylvania for a job that i got and although everybody here is a pitt panther fan or a penn state fan, i still sport the red and blue of the cats |

| in response to the two injurys for the oregon arizona game 1. arizona plays on grass not turf and to say that his foot got stuck in the turf is crazy, with his size and weight the grass would have given way i think you better look at the replay again. 2. if your soph. qb cant take a hit then maybe he should not play football anymore, if arizona can play a true freshman qb and he can take a hit then i think that a soph. qb should also be able too. |

| I don't think Autzen was complaining. The injuries were unfortunate and just in the nature of the game. Dixon needs to learn to slide. He is lightening quick, but is also a bean pole. I bet my next paycheck that Dixon will slide the next time a defender is barreling down to take his head off. |

| your'e right, azcatsfan. 1) grass, not turf - my mistake 2) Dixon can't take a header I think all I meant was that the AZ defense deserves more credit for their play earlier on in the game against Oregon's complete offense - to me, that said more about them, holding Clemens and Oregon's offense like they did. I wonder if the Oregon's 2 QB's didn't go down, would AZ's defense gotten it's due attention? (before the Beav's game, I mean). that's all. I didn't mean to offend. |
