I hope so. I'm not a fan of Texas. "hook 'em y'all".....annoying.

Yeah, Texas lost although I did predict the Horns to win. OSU looks for real. Notre Dame too for that matter.

I didn't see the Notre Dame game, but if they can handle Penn State like that, they must be better than I thought. And yes, Ohio State is very, VERY for real this year. People talked pre-season about how wide open the field is... I'm not so sure. Ohio State does have a bullseye on their back though and could get caught by a sleeper.

Well, he does have a point about the the clock, but he is making excuses. OSU dominated from the opening kickoff.

The Big 10 looks piss poor right now. Worse than the Pac-10. Outside of Michigan, who hasn't played well, OSU will probably run the table.

Now? Why do you say the big 10 looks so bad? If you are thinking about Penn State well they got beat on the road against one of best teams in the nation. The Iowa debacle was all about the loss of Tate who will be back and they have OSU at home. The OSU game is their season and I really think it will be a good game where Iowa has a decent chance of pulling the upset. Its early but as for OSU running the table I am not a beliver just yet. Michigan will be strong this year but I don't see them beating ND and as always the last game with OSU will be interesting no matter the rankings going in (its anyones game in that series). MN and NW are rebuilding as is WI but one of them will be a bowl caliber team. I am not sure about the PAC 10 but the PAC hasn't looked so good either this year.

the acc has been BAD as well, fsu is their best team!!?!?!? clemson lost to BC?!??!

Big 10: Iowa and Indiana almost lose to two horrible teams. Northwestern loses to New Hampshire, and it wasn't close. Also, Penn St and Minnesota both are crushed. Oh, lets not forget Illinois who were shut out by the State College of New Jersey. That is OK, the ACC is actually doing worse. If I were to rank the conferences right now it would be:

SEC (I hate the SEC)
Big East (Can't believe it)
Big 12
Big 10
Pac 10
ACC

The Big 10/12 and Pac would all be interchangeable. At least OSU is in the Big 10.

I have to totally disagree with your ranking of the big east

what team in the big east has beaten anyone!??!!?!?! (I mean was the Cuse-Iowa game the only top 25 team that the big east has played in??!?!?!...and cuse was at home playing against a qb'less iowa team)

stop giving so much respect because they havent lost, and start giving some respect to conferences for going out and playing Tennesse or Notre dame even if 50% of the time they lose or worse (esp on the road like Penn State and Cal did with Tennesse and ND)

While the Big East doesn't exactly play a brutal shedule, they do look pretty decent this year. I don't think at this point I could rank the conferences though. All have their ups and downs. Basically I see it like this at the moment.

1) SEC
2) Everybody else

It is too early for rankings, and maybe I ranked the Big East a little hight, but with how well West Virginia, Rutgers, and Louisville are playing I would give them some credit. By the way, Louisville and Miami square off this weekend.
