Cal's Windes Helps USA to 5-0 Start in FINA World League Play

Cal junior Elsie Windes helped pace the United States' women's water polo team to a 5-0 record last week at the 2006 FINA World League Semifinals, held July 12-16, in Los Alamitos, Calif. Windes joined former Golden Bear standouts Ericka Lorenz and Heather Petri on the U.S. Senior National Team. Team USA is now training in Hungary from July 18-23, before competing in the FINA League Super Final July 26-30 in Athens, Greece.
