Hi Everyone,

I'm a Duck - just wanted to say hi.

Also - I'm probably one of just a few women who gets a little crazy over college football. I check stat's and stuff like that.

Last saturday was probably one of the greatest days in college football that I can remember in a long time. I can't tell you how many games I was trying to watch simultaneously!

Hi, my name is Miles and I attend Div-1A haven Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, Nevada. I have always been a Bruin fan and hope to attend UCLA in the future.

By Div-1A haven I mean:

Ryan Reynolds-5 star Outside Linebacker (Oklahoma)

DeMarco Murray-5 star All-Purpose Back (Current player). Take a look at this guy. I read somewhere that scouts say that he is the closest thing to Reggie Bush since Reggie Bush. http://nevadaprepreport.rivals.com/v...p?pr_key=24902

Marcus Lawrence-4 star Point Guard (Current player, UNLV)

We also have a whole bunch of other football and basketball players listed on recruiting websites. They are all Div-1A material.

This looks like a great site and I hope to participate wherever I can.

Hey Miles...welcome.

I checked out Murray - that's a fast 40 yard dash. Keep us posted on the up and coming stars from your school.

Since you seem to be up on the news, you might even consider starting a recruiting thread where other high school students can post their stars, too.

is that okay with you, brady? don't want to step on the coach's toes.

see you around!

You know, I never got around to introducing myself. My name is Todd, I'm from Portland, OR and I'm employed as a Chemist. Graduated from Portland State in 98.

Living near Eugene as a kid, I grew up with Duck blood and have been a big fan through the years. Because I never attended either UO or OSU, I can root for both schools and not be ashamed. The only time I root against the Beavs is when they play UO or when they could cost UO a bowl. I'm just a fan of the State of Oregon and the West Coast in general.

that's funny, Go-Pac, because I did go to UO, and I still share your rooting philosophy of the Beavs and Pac-10.

Incidentally, my best friend from college, is also a Chemist. She also graduated in 98 and is a big football fan - she lives in Seattle. Need a hook up for tickets to UW or Wazzu games? let me know.

Ask me again during basketball season. I wouldn't mind watching the Huskies play a b-ball game. At least I would be entertained. I don't have the stomach to watch the Huskies play football unless they are getting clobbered by UO.

oh, for sure. she only goes to see UO or OSU play either team. She has no interest in UW or Wazzu otherwise.

Basketball Season. Maybe Sonic tickets, I wouldn't mind seeing Ridnour play. I love the Blazers, but once again you must have a strong constitution to put up with crap they put their fans through every year.

First of all welcome Miles, and thanks to you and Todd for introducing yourselves.

I just want to say also don't worry about stepping on my toes for anything. I don't mind the posting of links or info at all so long as they aren't spam links. Anything related to sports, Pac Ten events, the schools, are all perfectly fine with me. That is the reason I started this site

What's up.
I'm Paul. I graduated from Arizona last December and moved up here to northern Nevada for work. I follow college football like a religion, and root against ASU all the time, except for the one time a year that they take on USC. Yes, I do actually root for ASU once per year. Look forward to talking football with you guys.

Hi Paul. nice win yesterday. I root for Arizona whenever it doesn't interfere w/ Oregon. I have a friend who's getting her MA there right now, so she's keeping me in on the football loop.

I AGREE WITH YOU ALL THE WAY ON THIS ONE BRADY, THAT IS THE REASON THAT I LOVE COLLEGE SPORTS SO MUCH MORE THAN PRO.
IN COLLEGE YOU DONT HAVE PEOPLE LIKE TERRELL OWENS COMPLAINING THAT THEIR 12 MILLION WAS NOT ENOUGH LAST YEAR LOL AND IT IS NOT ALL ABOUT THE MONEY LIKE IT IS IN THE PROS,
SO IF YOU ARE THE BIGGEST COLLEGE FOOTBALL FAN THEN I MUST BE THE SECOND BIGGEST LOL

my thoughts exactly, azcatsfan and brady. The reason I prefer college ball to the pros, is that is seems like the NFL has no spirit anymore. In college ball, it's about school pride and the win, not the paycheck.

The atmosphere for a college game is so different from a pro game. The band, cheerleaders, crazy students, tail-gateing, and the passion in the college game make for a much more entertaining event. I have been to Seahawk, Blazer, Mariner, and Dodger games and nothing compares to a Saturday game at Autzen or a raucous Mac Court.

Pro games are like visiting a library vs a college game, unless you are at a Stanford football game and 30k fans attempt to make noise in the 80k+ stadium.
