What are your favorites? Mine are Gettysburg and Band of Brothers.

Band of Brothers is an awesome series, but Das Boat and Apocolypse Now (I love the smell of napalm in the morning) would be by #1a and #1b.

Band of Brothers was an amazing series. I watch it whenever it comes on the History channel - have even considered buying it. The actors who played Winters and Nixon were incredible.

Also really like Deer Hunter. That one stuck with me for a long time after first seeing it.
