What Pac Ten teams came to play and who didnt?

On the UP: (1. being the best of the showings)
1. UO
2. OSU
3. USC (could argue for them to be above OSU, but remember OSU was picked 8th by many where as SC was picked 1 by practically everyone
4. UCLA (you could make a an arguement for them to be higher, sorry Bruin fans)

In the Middle: (one being closet to "up" 3 being closet to "down)
1. UA (I expected better from the "darkhorse" of the Pac Ten and they best bring a better game vs. LSU or they could get run out of town)
2. UW (sure you won but vs. San Jose St and only by 6??? well get ready for OU
3. Wazzu (sure they got their ass kicked but they traveled across country and had an early lead vs the Tigers

On the Down (1. being the worst showing)
1. Cal (wtf was that? cause it certainly wasn't football. damn they were flat)
2. ASU (you were playing NAU, I repeat Northern Arizona University and you still struggled?)
3. Stanford (maybe this is just me but I expected them to lose to UO byl ess than 10

I'm pretty much there with you -except I might swap UCLA with USC.

I was most disappointed by Cal, UA and ASU. (and even Stanford).

Cal being dismantled by Tenn kind made the week adequate for the Pac 10. Probably a 6.5 out of 10. At least a somewhat close game by Cal could have really helped. UCLA was a strong win and SC blasting a much improved (so they say) Arkansas team was very respectable. Although not pretty, UA knocking off BYU was another good win. I tell ya, I think I'm going to watch a UA game and I will see Stoops head explode like in the movie Scanners. He scares me.

Finally, those unis are horrible. I almost long for the days of lemon yellow and emeral green.

if I'm a Ducks fan I'm now honestly thinking Pac Ten Championship (pac ten title or bust almost-luckily you return playersl ike Stewart and Dixon next year-rather than to just contend for the pac ten title)

I think SC did what they did last year, played with their opponent for the 1st half then decided the fun would be over for their opponent in the 2nd half, i love arkansas fans "well we played a lot better"-ya you gave up 20 less points, yet still lost by what 36 points LMAO!!!!

ditto about USC. They half-assed it the first half and then destroyed in the second. It doesn't seem like much has changed there - they will probably still be the toughest team to beat in the Pac this year.
