| I went to my first USC-UCLA game in 1995 at the Mausoleum. Just this year I found the ticket stub from that game in an old magazine at our house. The next game I went to was in 1998 at the Rose Bowl and finally I went to my last game at the Mausoleum in 1999. I will be returning to the Mausoleum this year after six years of absence since that ugly 17-7 loss. Last year's game should have been won by the Bruins. The refs called Reggie Bush down when it was completely obvious that he had fumbled the ball which would have led to a TD for Spencer Havner on the recovery. Should of had instant replay. UCLA held Matt Leinart to no TD passes for the first time in his starts as a Trojan. All of that aside, we had one more chance to beat SC after yet another Bush fumble. This attempt was squandered though by "Old" Drew Olson throwing a pick off of his back foot. My dad and I are going to the game without tickets. We are taking our chances with scalpers.

| I can't find an official spread yet. This is the only thing I found. And I wouldn't go with it at all. I seriously doubt this spread. If this is real, I'd put at least a little money on UCLA, even though I don't want that to happen. http://www.collegefootballlocks.com/..._spreads.shtml |
| ||||
| That looks tempting Right after I posted i went to the players...something link that brady has set as a friend site. They have the spread at 21. Looks pretty good although I didn't realize the problems with defense UCLA has. I don't follow them well but for those that do what do you think about a 21 point spread? Mr. Powers, why are you not wanting a UCLA win? |
| ||||
| That's Autzen, Ms. Powers, if you're nasty.... cuz, if UCLA upsets USC, the Oregon ends up in the Sun Bowl instead of either the Fiesta or Holiday. The unofficial site I listed also said 21 points, too. I have no idea why that spread is so high. Bet on UCLA to at least beat the spread - it's way to wide for a rivarly game, IMHO. |

| Tommorrow is the BIG DAY......it all comes down to sunday......Could USC pound UCLA any harder? (no pun intended) GO DUCKS!!! I am back to 50-50 on the selection sun., anybody else??? sorry for such a random reply, gotta go!!! |
| ||||
| clearly it doesn't matter if Leinart is cold, luke warm, or hot...Reggie Bush just cannot be stopped! Texas vs. USC will be a helluva game. Did you see that Texas game today? Last I saw it was 70 -3! Does Texas normally hang those kind of points on teams...and did they do it today w/ first, second, and third string? |

| Sorry BruinForever, at least you got to cheer when UCLA won the coin toss. Wow, Reggie Bush is a man playing amongst grade schoolers. He is a cross between Gayle Sayers, Emmitt Smith, Walter Payton, and Barry Sanders. I'm curious to see how his NFL career will be. |
| ||||
| yeah sorry, Bruinforever - did you suffer through that one at the game? And did you see that Reggie Bush move when he leaped over the other guy? Is he a track hurdler, too? amazing. Can't wait to see him in the NFL, too. He'll be one of the best to ever play, me thinks. |
