I've always liked Herby so I figured I'd share. This is part of an article he wrote for ESPN Insider. What he said about the Pac 10...

Pressure on Pac-10:

The Pac-10 is a deeper conference this year and more competitive outside just USC. However, Cal gave the conference a black eye by getting embarrassed at Tennessee after coming into the season opener with so much preseason hype. Any time a school is playing an intersectional opponent from another BCS conference, that team has to capitalize on the opportunity.

The Pac-10 has that chance again this weekend, with Oklahoma visiting Oregon and Nebraska visiting USC. The Pac-10 is the most underappreciated of the BCS conferences in the country because people don't get to see its teams play on a national stage; but lately when Pac-10 squads have stepped outside the league, the results have not been pretty. This is a big weekend, not only for USC, Oregon and Arizona State (at Colorado) but for the Pac-10 as a whole.

I think USC, ASU and UO all win this weekend, the biggest question imo is the Fresno State-Wazzu game

Wazzu plays Baylor this weekend not Fresno. Wazzu should win, but Brink is very erratic.

Cal better watch out for my alma mater, they knocked off one D-I opponent already. Go Portland State Vikings.
