just another pac-10 rant

so, everyone says that pac-10 pads their pre-season and needs to play harder teams to improve their SOS....but the other teams in the other conferences pad their schedules, too. But it's okay for them, because they have a "harder conference".

Says who? I would think BCS bowl records would determine that - and from what I've looked at the Pac-10 beats at least the Big-10 in bowl records for the last 5 years. I haven't checked the others, but seriously...ugh.

Go ahead and look at the non-conference schedules for all the top 10 teams and you will see that they are all loaded with major cream puffs. Except for the Texas vs OSU game, nobody played a tough non-con game. Even Texas rounded out the non-con schedule with Lous-Lafayette and Rice. OSU? How about Miami (OH) and San Diego St. Penn St, lets see, there is South Florida, Cincinatti, and Central Michigan. A tough non-con schedule usually means one game where they play a first class opponent and the rest are scrubs. I dare you to look at Texas Tech's schedule and not laugh your ass off.

ROTFL. Okay, I actually just guffawed.

Speaking of powder puff - Some city in Oregon has a little girl team (tackle football) who plays against the boys, because there are no other girl teams. They get spanked every time, but I bet they could beat Sam Housten St!

But seriously, I'm right, right? This whole "pac-10" needs a harder pre-season is donkey-crap. just plain donkey-crap.
