Over Rated!

Notre Dame in my opinion is the most over rated team in the nation. their schedual is weak, and they not only have 2 loses. but one coming from a team with a losing record (michigan state 5-6). they only put up alot of points because they keep their starters in the whole game. the USC notre dame game was a fluke, USC would roll if there was a rematch.

GO DUCKS!!!! FIESTA BOWL! ducks deserve is alot more

of course I agree, but I don't see Fiesta taking Oregon over ND. And I totally agree that the USC/ND game was an anomoly. USC played a terrible game and ND really got up for it. But the ending of the game could be argued in ND's favor. Would that last USC drive have been reviewed if it was any other team than USC?

Still, Oregon should go to the Fiesta based on wins. I read an article that talked about ranked teams that Oregon has beaten. ASU was ranked, so was CAL and Fresno. (pretty sure they all fell out of rankings after Oregon beat them).

This leads me to an interesting point: Some of the same people who decide rankings, are also involved in the BCS poll, right? Do these teams, like ASU and CAL and Fresno drop from rankings after Oregon beats them because the nation thinks that Oregon is a second-class team? So it seems to me, that the system perpetuates itself...they set the rankings, then justify the bowl bids off of that.

I think ND has gotten more mileage out of one loss then any team in history. The fact of the matter is, you take the best teams available and in the Fiesta's case, it would UO vs OSU. But we all know it is a simple money grab. The computers have ND about 12 and the humans have ND around 7 so therefore the humans are biased towards ND. Heck, Auburn has two losses to a good Georgia Tech team and an OT loss to LSU (they should have beat LSU, several missed field goals) and Auburn would destroy ND just like I think OSU will, or UO for that matter.
