| How about that bball team Ducks stuck together the other night against Rice. Horrid shooting, and still managed to come back from 10 down with 1:43 left in the game to take it to OT. TP hit 3 threes to bring em back, would have been 4 and the game winner but he slipped on a wet spot!! Man what a freshman. Might be the spark we need to get over that hump, start winning those close games. We'll see, next up G'town on the 29th. I've thought Luenen would be a good player since i saw him his first exhibition game as a true freshman. Solid rebounder and looks to be playing the post with TP and AB in the game. Should be a run run run offense like it was with Rid and Luke.  |

| I still can't get over how short this guy is. Well, for a big time basketball player anyway. It will be interesting on the 29th, but it sucks that their first real game of the season is away.

| Yah i'm concerned about when he gets a 6' or 6'2" guard on him, he has trouble when he can't elevate straight up. Against UCI they put a bigger guy on him and he had some trouble, but still got 12 i think. He's super quick though, some spins i've seen him do are unreal. The whole crowd gave a collective OOOHHH at a couple moves in the first few games. |

| I don't think there has ever been a team with 3 MCD all-americans that has failed to make the tourney after 3 years (not to mention all of the other talent coming in..and the home court advantage)....I'm still surpised Kent has his job but oh well I see him making the tourney this year so he won't be fired |

| In 3 hrs we'll see if this team is for real. Hairston will be playing albeit sparingly. Hibert is a beast, 7'2" and has more blocks this year than the ducks team combined. They are a big team and pound the boards. Maarty is rebounding with vengance this year, hope he can continue it against these guys. Time for TP to really kick it into gear! GO DUCKS!!! |

| G'towns PG's not good enough to win. Go Ducks! Although, not sure we can hit the broad side of a barn with our free throws.  But we'll gladly take the upset! Senator Wyden was in the stands. Way to represent!

| Yeah! GO DUCKS!! GREAT WIN!!! Maarty really shut down Hibert! i couldn't believe it, he just completely took him out of the game. That was awesome!! Poor shooting in the first half, but defense kept them in it. The D reminds me of UW last year, denying the pass all over the court, pressure man to man. Awesome, i'm pretty excited to watch the rest of the season. Could be just the thing to get the crappy football season out of my mine  The Gtown students were taunting AB and TP with Oompa Loompa! LOL |
