I've been missing out on a lot of sports lately, so as I was checking out some of the ESPN blogs, I came across this.

• Oregon: Went far out of my way to catch the Pac-10 opener vs. Arizona a few years ago and it was well worth the trip. The building is square, everything is wooden and the sound rolls right at you. An added bonus is that the teams file directly past concession stands (and paying customers) on their way to and from the locker rooms.

Apparently Joe Lunardi was impressed, because Oregon was #3 on his blog about best game atmosphere's.

Its shame they are considering a new arena....its also a shame that more people can't fit in the pit
