Ducks Face Big XII Challenge in Pape' Jam

EUGENE, Ore. — The Papé Jam will be a Pac-10/Big XII challenge with the Nebraska men and the Colorado women squaring off against Oregon in the ninth annual college basketball doubleheader. This year’s event will take place on Saturday, Dec. 9 and, as always, will be played at the Rose Garden in Portland, Ore. The 2006 Jam will mark the first time two visiting teams from the same conference will participate in the event. Nebraska will be the second Big XII Conference men’s team to play in the Jam, following Kansas in 2002, while Colorado will be the first women’s Big XII team to appear in the Jam.
