EUGENE, Ore. — Oregon will play 12 games against teams that advanced to the postseason last year, including Georgetown, Nebraska and 2006 NCAA runner-up UCLA, as part of its 2006-07 men’s basketball schedule that was released Monday, according to head coach Ernie Kent. The Ducks open the season with a pair of exhibitions at McArthur Court against Lewis & Clark (Nov. 1) and Southern Oregon (Nov. 6), before beginning the regular season by hosting the Black Coaches Association Classic Nov. 10-12. Oregon will play Lehigh, Cal State Northridge and Portland State in that order during the round-robin tournament.
