EUGENE – The Oregon wrestling team will face two of the most successful programs in Division I wrestling in addition to hosting six home dual meets as part of its 2006-07 wrestling schedule that was released Monday, according to head coach Chuck Kearney. Highlighting the schedule are back-to-back matches against Oklahoma State and Oklahoma on January 20. Oklahoma State returns national champion Johnny Hendricks along with a team that struggled early in the 2005-06 season, but rebounded with a strong showing in the NCAA Tournament to take their 34th team national championship. Oklahoma, led by NWVCA Coach of the Year Jack Spates, finished the 2005-06 campaign with a third-place finish in the NCAA Tournament and returns three All-Americans.
