EUGENE – A 19-yard touchdown from freshman quarterback Justin Roper to junior wide receiver Brian Paysinger highlighted a 48 play scrimmage held Friday at Autzen Stadium which featured mostly players vying for reserve roles. “We took a step in the right direction today,” Head Coach Mike Bellotti said. “We handled the noise better and there were fewer procedural problems.”
