Ducks Sweep 18th Pepsi Team Invite Titles

EUGENE – The UO track and field teams piled up 19 regional qualifying marks (10 women, nine men) and nine wins (four women, five men) en route to team victories Saturday in the 18th edition of the Pepsi Team Invitational at Hayward Field. In the four-team scoring battle, the Oregon men won their 11th team title with 211 points, and bested Washington (second, 164), Kansas State (third, 133) and USC (fourth, 118). The Duck women also scored a comfortable win with 183 1/2 points for their 13th victory in the meet, and outdistanced Kansas State (second, 165), Washington (third, 151 1/2) and USC (fourth, 121).
