INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – UO junior Galen Rupp became the Ducks' 14th World Championships qualifier in men's distance events, thanks to his runner-up finish in the 10,000m Thursday night in the AT&T USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Michael A. Carroll Stadium on the IUPUI campus. The Portland, Ore., native ran a time of 28:23.31 and finished second in an all-star field topped by U.S. season leader Abdi Abdirahman (28:13.51), while recent Eugene transplant Dathan Ritzenhein of Nike finished third (28:31.88).
