PORTLAND, Ore. – Freshman Kate Hildahl capped her championship bracket play Friday in the 98th Oregon Golf Amateur Championship, hosted by Columbia Edgewater Country Club. Danielle Ranallo edged the Tualatin, Ore., native Hildahl on Friday on the par-72, 5,991-yard course. Hildahl had earned her spot in the quarterfinal after she defeated Marchie Hoover, 3 and 2, on Thursday, and Amy Mombert, 3 and 2, on Wednesday. The first-year Duck earned her spot in the 32-person championship bracket after she ranked 11th (80-79-159) after Monday's and Tuesday's stroke play action.
