SACRAMENTO, Calif. - In second day action Thursday in the NCAA Outdoor Championships, the Duck track and field squads advanced six more athletes (4 W, 2M) in qualifying action hosted by Sacramento State University at Hornet Stadium. On the women's side, freshman Rebekah Noble ranked third in the 800 meters semifinal and finished second in the second heat (2:05.49). The Spokane, Wash., native trailed Minnesota freshman Heather Dorniden (first, 2:04.98), while California sophomore Alysia Johnson won the first heat (2:04.76) over UTEP senior Fatimoh Mhammed (second-heat, fourth-overall, 2:05.60).
