Oregon State Baseball Champions!!

Okay, so I don't know much about baseball or follow it much for that matter, but I know the Beavs did something pretty special tonight. I knew they were good, but after losing twice it didn't look so hot for them. Anyway, ASU_Husker, did you make it to the game? if so do you have any pictures from tonight you could post?

Recaps from ESPN.com and SI.com.

Great game huh? Hell..great series played by Oregon State. On the brink of elimination five times and came back to win it all. Good stuff. I took some pictures for you guys, and by no means are they spectacular. I wasn't in the best spot of the stadium to be taking good pictures. I tried, and got some decent ones.

Browse through them here --> http://www.picturetrail.com/OregonStateBaseball

They are in all mixed up order and some are all turned around but im to lazy to fix that stuff so bare with it.

Congrats on the great win Oregon State!!

I've driven by the stadium countless times... never have seen a game there though. For whatever reason the lights and the field remind me of Field of Dreams. Anyway, I like this picture.

Congrats Beaver Nation. What a gutsy performance. Actually the Beavs fought back from elimination 6 times, a record. In addition, they are the first team to win the series after losing twice, largely a result of the format changes. They are the first team since USC (86?) to win after losing the first game. It was OSU's second national championship......ever! The last one was in 1961, cross country. The University of Oregon doesn't have a baseball team, needless to say I think everyone in the State of Oregon was glued to the TV. I kind of like this photo.

ya you think oregon could drop their football and basketball programs? then maybe we could get a few more nati titles

the whole series was amazing, i was so sad when we were down in game 2, thought it was over...but we came back! i cant believe how gundy and jonah pitched, and it was nice to see dallas key game 3 after his first two games, i hope they all do well in the minors and make it to the big leagues, i wonder if jonah will be on the cover of mvp baseball: ncaa 2007

cool pics also, man i wish i had been there, that must have been sweet
