Beavers of a few years ago

A few years ago, my favorite team next to UCLA was Oregon State. I'm referring to the Beavers that won that bowl game against Notre Dame. If memory serves me right the score was 41-9. That team had Ken Simonton, TJ Houshmanzadeh, something Prescott, and Jonathan Smith at QB. Ken Simonton was awesome.

Don't forget Chad Johnson. He is currently tearing it up in the NFL for the Bengals.

I think that that was who I meant instead of Prescott. Johnson and Houshmanzadeh were quite a duo.

Housh was great to watch. I wonder what will come of the Beav's? It seemed like when Erickson was around, that they got all these great recruits, then just as suddenly as he left, the recruits looked elsewhere. Do you think that's it? Or is it the coaching staff? Do the Beavers have great undiscovered talent amidst?

The beavs = Mike Hass

I think they are a pretty good team, they have had some bad games this year but they have had some good ones too. Their running game seems to be coming alive, and I can't say anything bad about Hass. If Hass was matched up with a better QB the beavs would really be a power team. We will have to see what happens with Stanford this weekend.

Hass is #1 in the country for receiving yards. I think you hit it on the nose, jphits.

ah yes, one of the best days of my life....it was Robert Prescott and he was pretty damn good just didn't make the NFL...and if you remember Chad Johnson dropped the ball before the endzone in that game and they gave it to him....also that defense was amazing!

well Erickson got Juco recruits, Mike Riley is a good recruiter and started the whole beaver turn around...

and as far as QBs go, anderson should redshirted when he first came, but Erickson figured he'd leave after his junior year for the NFL anyway....that would helped big time had he done it....Matt Moore ugh he's go game when he's on, problem is he is rarley on....he didn't play competetive football forl ike 3 years before last year of course...so maybe he'll regain his touch

Gunderson is out as backup, Sean Canfield is in and when Moore throws some picks and or gets hurt Canfield will get in
