I've got a strange gut feeling about the Beavs this year. I haven't had it since the Erickson years - and I know they played a cream puff team and all, but man if they can play with that ambition the rest of the season....they became my darkhorse for the year... I'm obviously rooting for the Beavs, but also Boise State's turf causes injury and death to birds every year....and they won't friggin' change it! Will this game be televised? If so, I'll be watching! Go Beavs!

| the game is on ESPN on thurday!!!!! ya I just kinda find the smurf turf pretty funny I too have that feeling about this year's beavs, but I had that feeling back in 2004 when we were 6-5 (the year we beat notre dame in the insight and choked away wins to LSU and Boise State) I know MANY people will be taking Boise State, but to those people I have this to say, you are wrong, the last time we played @ Boise State we had Wright as our RB (a guy who had 1 100yrd game ALL YEAR LONG) compared to this year's Yvenson Bernard who had 1300+ yard last year and he didnt even play much in the 1st few games...as well our offensive line is MUCH better than boise st's d-line, ask Ken Simonton how important a good O-Line is (or better yet ask him how that heisman campagin went, ya exactly) as long as we dont get into an air battle with them we should and will win expect Bernard to get 150+ yards and Newton to get a couple TDs also note we beat them last year, and we sucked last year and sorry if I sound cocky or over confident but Im sick of these analysts saying boise will kill us and we cant win because of one reason, we're playing on the road GO BEAVERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

| you don't sound cocky at all - I'm backin' your play on this one. Bernard is seriously dangerous. He's quick, agressive and WANTS THE BALL! I may be the only one here who "feels it" this year. But I do - call it woman's intuition or something. And if I'm wrong - call it PMS. ![]() I don't know much about Boise St's passing game, but Beav's passing game looks just fine. Screw the smurf turf! Go Beavs! Woah, holy crap, you just changed your sig in the middle of my post. It shocked me for a second there. love it!

| OMFG WTF was that!!!!!!!!!1 OSU made Boise look like Texas. I never thought they would be so thouroughly wipped in the trenches like that. The Beavs returned every offensive lineman this year and with the exception of the first drive, Boise destroyed them and Bernard had no chance. I think Boise stacked the box and dared OSU to throw the ball and that is an iffy proposition with Moore at QB. They needed to connect deep to open the running game. It didn't happen. Now on Defense. Well, the Beavs didn't tackle well, missed assignments, looked confused, and let Boise push them around. Other than that they did great. Quick start the heisman hype for Ian Johnson, 240 freakin rushing yards!!! Read my PAC vs WAC post and I'm starting smell rotten eggs.

| ok well the biggest probelm I saw was the run D, 240yrds, 5 TDs for a run D which had allowed 50yrds a game rushing over the past 5 games?!?!?!?!?!!?!??!!?!?1 WTF?!?!?!? we obivously had other problems, and I'm very disappointed in our boys and they better get ready for a Vandal team that is actually decent whats up with this series though? the road teams have gotten an early lead the past three years only to give it up, weird what a disgrace |
