| Its Official, I hate Mike Riley just a few letters I'd like to send out..... to Mike Riley: thanks a lot Mike, because of your shitty descions and horrible coaching our season is essentially over, I apperciate it Mike, I definitly didn't want to go to a bowl game this year, just like I didn't last year and only you could fullfill those wishes. Oh and Mike, I'm not sure if you know this or not, but this is football not golf, scoring more points than your opponent is the objective to matt moore: a little bit of advice, when a defensive linemen (the big guy running at you in different colors*) is coming at you, its best not to run staight into him and instead pass it or run the ball. Another bit of advice, see that big guy at the end of your o-line, you know some people call him joe newton, ya him....well last I checked he can catch the ball so perhaps you could throw it to him *I realize your color blind (based on the # of picks you throw) but still you should be able to tell the difference from a black uni and a white uni to sabby piscletti: I feel sorry for you Sabby, there is not a single d1 athlete other than you on our defense, but on the bright side sabby, you are a senior-meaning you can move on after this year (Sabby if you will, forward this letter to Joe Newton) to oregon: hey, you know how you guys have track and field and we have baseball, maybe we could work a similar deal out where you guys get football and we get rid of mike riley. oh and don't bother making the trip up to up to corvallis, we concede victory to you...that is unless canfield starts to sean canfield: can you slap coach riley for me? please? ------------- also, if any of you out there have Dennis Erickson's address or phone number, I'd love to send him a letter too, or maybe Norm Chow's?  |

| I feel your pain. OSU has been a real disappointment for me this year. But I wouldn't concede Civil War yet - that Cal game was UGLY.

| how do I really feel? I feel like I Mike Riley is a very stubborn person in that he refuses to bench Moore because Moore is the senior captain and Canfield is just a freshman (rs) even though its so very clear that we are struggling mostly because of Moore and his inability to do anything as well I am getting mad about future prospects, we aren't getting the Derek Anderson’s and Steven Jackson’s anymore and are instead relying on what riley did in his first stint-get people who no one else wants (ex. simonton+smith) but that is a horrible way to go about it, because not every walk on is going to turn into Jonathan smith or mike hass, not every undersized RB is going to be Ken Simonton i hate comparing riley to erickson (because erickson is just not coming back to corvallis-thats the reality) but inevitably I must...and frankly erickson is just a better coach, he can get top jucos and elite west coast prospects that riley just can't get...for example-erickson gets derek anderson the #2 qb in the country from Scappoose, a player mike riley would never have gotten-to prove this look at last year-kevin riley a 4 star top prospect on the west coast heads to cal even though all indications say that he would have liked to go to osu-not this is sort of irrelevant because we have canfield (3 star prospect btw-still a stud though  ) but canfield has already red shirted and kevin would likley need to redshirt this year( what he is doing right now at cal) thus its not like we wouldn't use kevin-kevin might have even beat out sean but that too is irrelevantriley is not a winner plain and simple. I hope very much that we are able to rid ourselves of him and bring in a big name-but i know riley isn't gonig anywhere, nor would we bring in a big name even if we could get rid of him oh and the 8085 is chad johnson's numbers...80 at OSU, 85 with the Bengals-not that I'm a big fan of Chad Johnson-I find him very funny but Jonathan Smith will always be my favorite player-and besides Chad was only in Corvallis for 1 season |

| OK, I get it. So if Riley is dismissed at the end of the year, who would you get to replace him? I'm thinking Peterson at Boise State.

| who I would I want? Norm Chow, Dennis Erickson, the Texas Defensive coordinator among others who do I expect to get? well first let me say Riley ain't going anywhere but if he were to leave I wouldn't be surpised if it was Peterson, but it won't be a big name |

| why not? Didn't you get Erickson after Riley left the first time? Isn't there always someone who is looking to turn around a team? And wouldn't it at least be a bigger name than Riley? If they keep Riley after this year...man, the fans are gonna turn big time.... it's already starting.

| 1. we would have to buy out Riley's contract, thus leaving us with little $$ 2. sure Erickson was a big name 5 years ago but Riley was not a big name when we got him....and erickson is a northwest guy how many other big names are out there that are northwest guys? 3. Erickson is just not coming back, in a perfect world both oregon state and erickson would have loved for him to never leave but he did, he's in idaho now and thats where he'll be 4. I'm just saying its highly unlikley we pick up a big name, we don't have the money, we aren't in a region where recruits like to go, we don't have the same faclities as the other in state team has and the options for big names are slim...why would butch davis or norm chow want to coach at osu when they could go to an elite (top 25) school...bottomline, I guess its possible to get a big name but its highly unlikley |

| 3) Why is he never going to leave Idaho? money? buy out too large for OSU? I seriously can't understand why it wouldn't be a win/win for both Idaho and OSU? Wouldn't OSU have a huge payout to Idaho to get him back? Does it not work like that? okay, so I am obviously dreaming...but those were the days man...when OSU was the shit and OSU and UO had to duke it out for the better bowl....sorry, I'm just feeling really nostalgic about it all right now. A few beers is all it takes. I miss those days!

| We did play well yesterday and Moore was hitting Stroughter big time as well Bernard was a beast in the 1st half however, what was up with Matt Moore yelling at his own fans after he put OSU up by 3? (Bernard scored but Moore drove us down the field)...you yell at the fans who are willing to support you by driving 3 hours to see you play? you yell at your own fans period? I'm sorry Matt but even you must see that you have had a shitty career at OSU and as paying customers they (including I) had every right to say the simple fact that you sucked |
