Beavers Announce New Hispanic Marketing Partnership

July 31, 2006 - Beaver Sports Properties and Oregon State Athletics are proud to announce a new partnership with Churchill Media, LLC of Eugene to broadcast Beaver football to the Hispaniccommunity. Spanish speaking radio coverage of Beaver football games will begin this season on the LaX sports network in Eugene (KXQR 660AM), Portland (KXPD 1040 AM), and Yakima, WA (KMNA 101.7 FM). Oregon State Athletics though its exclusive multi-media rights holder Beaver Sports Properties are again making history by being the only college in the Western United States to air all of its football games live in Spanish. In 2003, OSU partnered with KWBY 960 in Woodburn, Oregon to become first collegiate program in the Northwest to broadcast games to the Hispanic community.
