As summer begins to fade, Oregon State can start looking forward to the beginning of fall baseball workouts on Sept. 17. And when the two-time defending national champion Beavers begin practice, they'll have eight players in camp who were selected by Major League Baseball teams in last June's draft but opted to play for OSU in 2008.
