The Pac-10 lived up to its well deserved billing of "Conference of Champions" by capturing nine NCAA titles during the 2005-06 academic year, more than any other conference. The Pac-10 total of nine NCAA titles was followed by the Atlantic Coast Conference and Southeastern Conference, which shared runner-up honors with six NCAA crowns.
