Pac Ten BBall....The best conference in the nation?

FOX Sports - COLLEGE BASKETBALL - Pac-10 (not ACC) is nation's No. 1 conference

West Coast gets some love, now if only Jay John and my Beavs could get it going

Note: I'm still not a believer in Wazzu (probably won't be unless they are still rolling late in Feburary) But I am a believer of Oregon this year, they still won't be as good as they should be (they should be a top 10 team i nthe nation AT THE LEAST) but they should still make a run in the tourney (and yes-make the tourney)

Good article, too bad the rest of the country don't think the same. Case and point, last week Clemson #25 Oregon #24. Clemson played zero games (last game was 12/5), Oregon won 3 games by an avg of about 30.

This week, Clemson #22, Oregon #23. Apparently Clemson showed more for NOT PLAYING than Oregon did in winning 3 games by 30 points.

All that really matters is the NCAA Tournament. All this "love" now won't mean squat if the Pac Ten sucks in this year's tourney. We are playing well, but playing well in the tourney is what really counts.

We certainly did well in last year's tourney-

The only thing that the regular season is good for is getting high seeds thus increasing likelihood of getting a good/easy bracket (and really thats all its about- the easy bracket, ask UNC, Florida and UCONN the past 3 champs)

Tru. I really want 2 Pac Ten teams to make the Elite 8. I would kill to see one get the championship game. UW, UA, and UCLA all can do it.

I'd be willing to bet UCLA will be there again this year. Washington, Oregon, Arizona, and even potentially USC could make decent runs if things fall into place.
