Notre Dame

I don't think I have wanted a victory this bad in a long time. If Stanford can beat Notre Dame, it will make my year. Well, maybe my weekend, but I would be very happy

What interest do you have in having Notre Dame losing to Stanford.
I don't get it.

Didn't you hear, all ASU fans recently pledged allegiance to the University of Oregon. Brady_44 just forgot to change his mascot from Sparky to the O. It is all about the O.

Because they don't deserve to be in a BCS bowl. That and I hate how the second ND wins a couple games everybody jumps on their bandwaggon. I don't like the fans, the school, the way they treat their staff (see: Tyrone Willingham) amongst other things. Any other questions just see this thread -- http://www.pactentalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=189

I think that Stanford is legitimate enough to give Norte Dame a run for their money..for a while at least. I'll be a Cardinal fan for the day, that's for sure. Go Stanford.

I think they could upset ND - I'm not sure that ND will really get up for this game. Go Stanford!

Damn. Stanford could not pull it off. WHY did Ostrander SPIKE the ball on 3rd down??? The clock was STOPPED!!! They lost their 3rd down. Whatever.

Stanford coug'ed it. I wonder why they took a time out right before they were about to score?!!! Why didn't they let the clock run down some?

At any rate, ND looked awful. Their secondary sucks, and if they played a west coast team in a bowl game, they'd get slaughtered.

And while I'm at it....Charlie Weiss is the most foul coach ever. Snot was running down his nose the entire game and he kept licking it off his lip! Sick!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH they f-ing had it in their pockets. Can't believe that whole last two minutes. Bad clock management, then bad defense, then to spike the ball when the clock is stopped? God I hate Notre Dame.

oh, and one more rant. Did you all notice the absolutely huge "Touchdown Jesus" placard that the fans rose after ND scored? I must have missed something, because I didn't see a bearded man with a white robe walking on water to the end zone.

Last time I checked in with the big man upstairs (ie, this game), God was still a free for all.

Don't mean to offend anyone of any relgious nature at all, or lack there of, just pointing out that I'm pretty sure Notre Dame doesn't have the market on God. I can't stand pious fans.

You missed it? I think he was actually walking on Gatorade when he scored. Ya I don't know about having a higher power guiding them and being "America's team" and all that stuff. They came back and got it done to go 9-2, so they are obviously a good team. Deserving of a BCS bowl though? I don't think so.

lol. Gatorade. you crack me up brady. Yeah, okay, they're a "good" team, but they absolutely suffered to Stanford tonight. Win or not. That HAS to say something about the Pac-10, right?. Stanford is a really good team. And Notre Dame barely eeked out the win. Maybe thay had "Buddy Jesus" on their side?

I told you guys that Nd was over-rated. Stanford completely blew it..unfortuante..But nothing made me happier than turning on the TV last night and listening to Lou Holtz and company talking about how Notre Dame doesn't deserve the BCS bid they will get...finally the rest of the country is seeing what I saw weeks ago. Trashy ND...boo to you and your rateings..let the better teams play!
