Incoming Stanford freshman Jayne Appel (Carondelet H.S./Pleasant Hill, Calif.) helped the USA Basketball U18 Women's National Team (4-0) win a gold medal at the 2006 FIBA Americas U18 Championship For Women with four-straight wins at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo., this past weekend.
