Stanford University extended its record-breaking string of national academic team titles to four as the Cardinal gymnasts combined for an outstanding team grade point average of 3.567. The award is given out annually by the College Gymnastics Association. Massachusetts Institute of Technology vaulted into second place (3.192) with William and Mary (3.186) moving into the third place position.
