Stanford junior righthanded pitcher Greg Reynolds been selected second overall by the Colorado Rockies in the first round of the 2006 MLB First-Year Player Draft on Tuesday. The native of Pacifica, Calif., becomes the highest pick ever from Stanford as well as the 18th Stanford player in the last 20 years of the draft to be taken in either the first round or as a Compensation A pick.
