I'm not sure what you talking about the last 3 games not having a chance, I'm saying we'll win but we are favored in 2 of the games and the other is being played in the same city as the school But as the east coasters always tell me when the PAc Ten dominates bowl games: Bowl games mean absolutely nothing (Sarcasm cause I think they do matter even if we are sucking right now) I'm not surpised to see disappoitning teams like UO and ASU lose in trap games but UCLA also??? eek |

| Sry, but three losses by embarrassing amounts to out of conference teams does not inspire confidence. It was a huge reach for you to nominate your conference as the best before the bowl games. USC is the only team in the pac ten that anyone respects. But if you still cling to any pretensions now, you're a hopeless 'homer', incapable of seeing the truth right in front of your face. Until the pac ten crowns another champ other than USC, unless the conference as a whole learns how to play defense, and stop playing the playground football their currently famous for, they will never be in the same league as the premier conferences. A good 1AA team would do very well in todays Pac Ten. Do I hate the Pac Ten? No. Do they inspire fear and terror on the football field? OMFG no. USC has great talent, but if they had to play in the real football conferences like the SEC, Big Ten, Big Twelve, they'd have to play at a higher level of play each week than they do in the pac ten. In the pac ten all they need to do is show up and the game is half won. Last edited by oVERated : 12-28-2006 at 01:58 PM. |

| I certainly don't see the Pac-10 as the best conference before or after what happens in the bowl season. I'd go with the SEC. Every single weekend in the SEC is two great teams matched up against one another. With four teams over the 10 win mark before bowl season..that's pretty much unheard of. I think that the Big10 also may be a contender for the top conference, but in my opionion the SEC has way to much speed for the Big10 to handle.. As far as Pac10 v. BigXII .. I'd say they are pretty even..right now. Quote:

| Even as a BigXII backer as I am and I agree with you to an extent on BigXII v. Pac10... that's kind of a pointless score to bring up..

| He implied that the Pac 10 has always been better than the Big 12, so there ya go. That being said, it's been a really down year for the Big 12. Worst I've seen in a long. long time. I'll admit I wasn't really cognizant of how bad the Big 12 was when I made my statement. As I write this tho, Mizzou is ahead of OSU 31-21, and Ok. State beat Bama so maybe the Big 12 can salvage some pride. Best the Pac 10 can do is a 3-3. Edit: OSU pulled out a win over unranked Mizzou. Kudos, the decision to go for two at the end was gutsy, I'll grant ya that. Last edited by oVERated : 12-29-2006 at 08:03 PM. |
