I hadn't heard about this, but seems pretty stupid to me. I thought Belloti was a decent coach?

He gets a lot of credit and I'm sure impur thinks he's a great coach but I think he is one the most overatted coaches in the nation and overall a horrible coach but I am a little bias but seriously when you have all the resources he does, all the assistant coaches all the athletes etc., etc., and really can't do anything now that Tedford is gone as well as doing sttupid shit like this.....sorry I gotta call you on that

No don't think hes a great coach. Hes a good coach that brought UO football to where it is today, but he has certainly peaked. He cannot do anything else to better the program, just look at the records since 01. 4 straight bowl losses (mired by a 5-6 year). Take away last years 10-2 run and we are what, 27-23. Even with last year we are something like 37-25 since 01. Anywhere else in the country, at top notch programs, he would have been canned 2 years ago.

He can't get the kids motivated, the program has no direction and no discipline. Aliotti needs to go first, and Bellotti should move to the AD position or get canned. Duck fans are finally getting tired of mediocrity, with all the talent we have at this school, and just watching it wasted is completely furiating to me.

Then to top it off, he lies and denies it regardless of the obvious facts. He embarrasses the university by belittling BYU before the game, THEN AGAIN AFTER THEY UTTERLY CURB-STOMPED HIS TEAM!!! After every loss, he says the same old thing but never does anything to fix it.

He just hasn't been the same since his wife went down on that dude in the park, among other things.

Time for change at Oregon IMO.

haha like I said though he hasn't won crap since Tedford left

I'm surpised by you going against him however I would be curious to see how you felt if he went say 9-3 this season or something to that effect.

I would love to see OSU get the kind of athletes Oregon does, in the sense of recruiting OSU and UO are pretty much opposites.....OSU gets absolutely shitty recruits and they get a better to keep us comptetive while Oregon gets stud athletes and can't control them which leaves them only comptetive

For the record on Mike Riley-I still don't think he's a great coach, and he will never ever take us to the top of the Pac Ten as he recruits small time players hoping they will get better but at this point you can't fire the guy after potentially getting 10 wins but he shouldn't get an extension imo

Hmm well if this team went 9-3 with the lack of discipline and stupid comments from the HC i would still be ready to can him. There needs to be some pride involved, these kids don't really care win or lose. You see them all posing for the cameras in their new unis, smiling and laughing after the game? I don't see any fire in him anymore, it seems like it is just a job now, not a passion. I also think Uncle Knight has a bit too much influence as well.

You are right, Riley does a tremendous job bringing in average recruits and making them better, getting them to gel as a team. Bellotti used to be able to put guys in a situation in which they would excel, but for some reason that has gone by the wayside. Now he goes for the highlights. Tedford really was the glue here.

I really feel sorry for some of these kids, like JStew and J.J., Dixon. They came here with a lot of hype and promise. How can you only run a guy like JStew 8 times in a bowl game? The guy would be putting up 1200-1500 yard seasons at USC, or BSU, or Auburn. He gets 981 here.

But Bellotti has himself so entrenched here its gonna take another 2-3 years of .500 or worse seasons to get him canned. If the team goes 9-3 or 8-4 one year then everyone will be happy again and the cycle will restart. Its maddening.

If I was coaching Jonathan Stewart he would be carrying the ball between 30-35 times at the least...the guy is just a beast

Any chance Koetter makes a return to Oregon as an assistant? I doubt it, the offense is a little different now with the spread but still
