UCLA receives verbal commitment from Kevin Love

It was HOT in that small room. Love's family, friends and the media were there. The SoCal All-Stars were also in attendance. Afflalo and Bozeman were present as well. I got a great seat and I remained at the presser from start to finish. Love cut right to the chase and reached down for the UCLA cap. Nice applause afterwards followed up by questions. After the presser, Afflalo was walking out and I shook his hand and wished him good luck next season. Following that, Love was walking out and I offered my congratulations and I asked him for a picture. This is a great day in UCLA history. I'm thankful that I was there in person.

It is a shame to see solid Oregon high school recruits spurn UO and OSU. That says something about both basketball programs.
