I can't believe no one's made a "UCLA's in the FINAL FOUR" thread yet

Seriously, wtf? This is like the greatest day in Bruin sports in a decade.

I dunno. The Gonzaga win has just been dominating my emotions. I wasn't ecstatic at all when the final buzzer ended the Memphis game. I was yelling and pumping my fists when we came back to beat Gonzaga. The greatest day in Bruin sports in the last decade was UCLA winning the 1995 NCAA title. 2nd is UCLA coming back to beat USC in football in 1996 48-41 in 2 OTs. Third is the Gonzaga win.

Greatest day of recent note- the hiring of Ben Howland.

Future big day- the firing of Karl Dorrell.

I think it's awesome for the Bruins. Go UCLA! Final 4!

Yeah, I have to root for the Pac, but something about me would like to see George Mason take it. I have a hard time not rooting for the underdog especially if doesn't concern my Ducks or I am not rooting against a despised team such as: ND, Texas, Alabama, Miami, LSU, Nebraska (sorry ASU_Husker) and ......ahh heck the whole damn SEC and half the Big 12.

A. What's so bad about Dorrell?
B. I agree about rooting for an underdog, especially in this case because an 11-seed is even more of a spectacle.

Karl Dorrell is to UCLA football what Steve Lavin was to basketball.

If I remember correctly, UCLA football was 10-2 this year. Was this year a fluke? I guess we will see since the Bruins have to replace their entire backfield and all their LBs on a suspect defense this year.

They did get 10 wins... mostly comebacks, so he can't be all bad. I agree he isn't an amazing coach, but he's certainly better than other Pac 10 coaches (See: Dirk Koetter).

Yes, this is a good time to be a Bruin fan. Since Iowa is out, and ASU didn't make it, UCLA is my team from hear on out. I like the George Mason story too and wouldn't be all that upset if they won it... but I'm still pulling for the Bruins.
