USC graduate Erik Vendt finished second in the men's 1,500-meter freestyle on Sunday at the 2006 Pan Pacific Swimming Championships in Victoria, British Columbia. Incoming transfer Amanda Weir won the consolation finals of the women's 50-meter freestyle and then anchored the United States' women's 400-meter medley relay team that captured gold.
