I figured that would be the case. A lot of juniors going pro this year. Is it just me, or does it seem more than usual?

It's probably a few more than usual but the talent level was ridiculous. There were a lot of great Juniors this year.

Lots of solid juniors. The top ten of the draft will probably consist of six or seven juniors.

This should be one of the best NFL drafts in years.

I'm not pissed about the fact that Bush could stay another year and win another championship for USC (which they'd have a damn good shot of doing if he did). I'm pissed about the fact that he'll most likely be playing for Houston - basically Vince Young's hometown!!! >

And a awful team to boot. They can't protect Carr, there is no way they will be able to block for Reggie.

even if reggie were to stay, houston wouldn't pick VY, they would, in all likelyhood, pick D'brickashaw Ferguson or another big name HB. carr is still young and they probably want to see what he can do

Texans exercise 'buy back' to keep Carr through '08

I don't think there is any doubt about things now. Reggie is a Texan.
Quote:
HONOLULU -- In a move that could augur the selection of Southern California tailback Reggie Bush as the first overall pick in the 2006 draft, league sources here for the Pro Bowl confirmed late Thursday that the Houston Texans have exercised a "buy back" clause in quarterback David Carr's contract, paying him an $8 million bonus to secure his services for three more seasons.
